Horrible company
Sometime back in July of I met with a salesperson from Blue World Pools. I agreed to purchase a pool.
I was told that the next step would be to hear from the financing department and then the installation team. So several weeks went by and I had not heard anything so I called and spoke with the finance department and was told that I was financed and the next thing I would hear from was the installation team. So I waited several weeks and finally called the installation team. I spoke with a female who had not mastered the English language.
She was difficult to understand and her use of the English language was pathetic she basically repeated everything to me that the finance department had told me and then told me that I would hear from project manager she had no information whatsoever regarding the installation but identified herself as installation. So many more weeks went by and I began calling again to find out what was going on their first prompt is for sales so when I pushed one for sales it didn't ring there was no voicemail you weren't on hold it was just dead silence and nobody ever answered so I tried multiple other departments and was getting absolutely nowhere. So as last resort I selected the option for collections not that this lady would know anything but at least maybe thinking she could get me into the right direction or get somebody to call me. After explaining why I was calling her response to me was I don't care what you do with that pool lady and hung up on me.
Okay so I then continue to call and call and call and call and could not get anybody to answer the phone at some point I don't know if it was a fluke but I finally got the same female from installation that I had spoken to before who couldn't speak proper english. She told me that a contractor had been assigned she gave me a name and said I should have heard something by now and I told her well I clearly have not heard anything by now or I wouldn't be calling you. So she apparently got a hold of the project manager who then called me. Right off the bat he was very irritated and wanted to know why I kept calling everybody and I had explained to him that I signed this contract in June and we are now in August and I have nothing.
And all I wanted to know was when somebody was going to be coming to install this pool. I had an existing pool and it was going to have to be taken down. He continued to lecture me he continued to berate me he told me over and over again how long Blue World Pools have been in business and how many pools they've installed and how much money they were worth and I said to him I don't care about any of that I care about when I'm going to get my pool I paid you you didn't pay me. He said I don't care and that I needed to be nicer to him.
He finally said you have two choices you can cancel or you can wait till I get around to installing the pool. At that point I felt I had no other option but to cancel because everything had been a complete mess and if it was this bad just trying to get it installed all I could imagine was what it would be like if I needed to have service. So I opted to cancel. I had put down a $500 deposit and I wanted to know if I was going to be getting that back and the installation manager said he didn't know nor did he care about me.
So back to the phone I went calling repeatedly until I finally got somebody in sales I asked to speak with a supervisor at the sales department and I got a Miss Coleman. So I told her everything that had happened and email it directly to her. Which I did. She then asked me to revise my email to include how wonderful she was and how helpful she was and what a great job she did.
I thought that was a little weird but I did it because I just wanted to get my money back and be done with these people. So she then called me and said she had great news for me and they were going to give me this great deal on this pool and I said no at this point you wouldn't be able to give me this pool I don't want anything to do with this company I just want this over with I want my money back and everybody can go there separate ways. So a few days later she left me a voicemail and told me that they were going to refund my money and it would take 5 to 10 business days. 5 to 10 business days came and went and I had no refund so I spent five more days calling and calling and calling and emailing and calling and on the 5th day I finally got somebody to answer the phone and was able to speak to Ms Coleman again.
She checked the status of the refund and informed me that it had not even been issued. So I told her at this point I was just going to file the claim in court and drag somebody up from Atlanta Georgia to Lakewood Ohio and they could answer to a judge up here. I finally received a call from Mr Adam Warren related to the owners and told me that he was finally going to issue this refund. Needless to say I'm still waiting.
So this company their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced.
They couldn't care less whether you are happy or not they just want $15,000 for an above ground pool and then you can go away and they will never ever help you or service this thing ever again. I do not recommend using Blue World Pools for anything wherever you live if you're wanting a pool you find somebody local and you go that route

Scammers!
Blue World Pools is a horrendous company to deal with. True scammers.
They dont tell you when they finance that the interest rate keeps rising and you end up paying $40,000 to $50,000 for a $3,000 pool. They also put a lien on your home and horribly rude every time you talk to them on the phone! They scammed my elderly parents. Got them to finance and put a lien on their home.
My parents had already paid them over $25,000 when they where still alive. They both passed away last year and we had to sell their property to pay their debt. Blue world pools was unbelievably rude, NEVER offered any condolences for us losing our parents, only demanded the rest of their money and sent threatening text messages about the lien. When we sold their property we had to pay them ANOTHER $16,000 to get the lien off the property.
In total that was $41,000 for a $3,000 pool! When I called to get the payoff the finance lady said I will send the payoff when time permits! I said you will send it NOW if you want it to be paid off!!! My lawyer even said they where extremely rude to her!
They are heartless, inconsiderate, extremely rude, very selfish people who are excellent con artists! You sign their contract and your making a deal with the devil himself. They scam you with lies and you dont even realize it until its too late. They take you for everything!
My parents wanted to leave their children a little something. By the time blue world pools was done with us there was barely anything left!
Beware!!! Be VERY aware!
User's recommendation: RUN!
Never received a callback
User's recommendation: Keep track of your paperwork for any questions or info on your products/pool or it will cost you $200 to get another copy.
Cannot leave a zero stars! Customer Service suddenly won’t take calls because I want to cancel! Scam alert
The company sent someone over to sell me a pool. The guy that showed told us upfront that he HAD to stay in my house for 1 1/2 hours!
Uh. I should have thrown him out! Sales tactics to wear us down! Unfortunately it worked!
He would NOT even discuss a 400 pool as advertised! Only a 24k dollar pool! He assured me that I could cancel ANYTIME.. not that I had to send a telegram!
I am ashamed and embarrassed that I fell for this! We signed a 20k dollar contract completely under a duress. He sat there talking until I would have probably given him my house to get him to leave! Next morning I tried to contact the company, but Andrea suddenly wouldnt allow me to speak to anyone!
No ine will speak to me about ANYTHING! Customer service is involved with taking peoples money. I sent in the telegram as required, and now I am getting calls at10:45 pm. I am getting calls on Sundays now.
Please please do NOT allow this to continue. There are hundreds of horror stories from these people !
User's recommendation: Do NOT let these *** scam you.

Horrible instalation experience/customer service
Was told 1 day to install pool. Now on day 4 and pool install is still not done.
Installer does not show up when he says he will be there. Has been late everyday, says he is coming "bright and early" shows up at 11:30am, 2pm or 4pm to work. Has had to pick up more supplies from pool supply store. It is now 4:30pm on day 4 and still no water in the pool.
I can't have water delivered on the weekend to fill the pool because they are closed.
Not even sure he will finish today.
I have called customer service several times today, they've told me he's run into problem but "making things perfect." Then told me he was on his way to me at 8:30am he didn't show up at my house until 1:45pm. No apologies or compensation for my loss of time/work/inconvenience that this has taken on me.

Company lied about cost of replacement parts and two months ago was chastised by customer service representatives
I was told replacing the ion tube for my pool would cost about a $100 a year. I called and was told it would be a $180 and its been that price for 2 yrs.
I have had my pool less than a year. My pump filter basket cracked back in December so I called to get a new one under warranty and was chastised that they would replace it however t was my fault. It took 3 different times for me to get the right basket for my pump.
It seems to me my information would be in the computer of what kind of pool system I have. The lack of professionalism in that company is not horrible for its customers I wish I never bought and paid cash for it.
